Housefull 2 has done very good business in the first week with a collection of around 63 crore nett in its first week. It is the 8th highest first week collection of all time.
The film had a strong weekend and held up well on the weekdays. The film has fared best in Gujarat, Delhi/UP and the central belts of CP Berar, CI and Rajasthan.
Housefull 2 has also been appreciated in East Punjab but collections are lower than they should be due to competition from a regional film but second week will be strong in the circuit.
West Bengal is an under performer as comedies tend to do lower business in that circuit. Looking at the steady business of the film it should put up a good number over its second weekend.
