Housefull 2 was super strong on its 8th day as the film collected around 4.25 crore nett. It had dropped below 4 crore nett on Thursday but were up on Friday despite a 25% approx loss of screens. Films like Don 2 and Agneepath which also had no major competition on day 8 showed drops on their respective 8th days.
The film has tremendous appreciation amongst the masses and this is being reflected in collections in all the traditional Hindi film markets from Gujarat to Punjab to Rajasthan.
The film faced headwinds in the first week in the face of regional films and IPL but with strong word of mouth, these factors are having a limited affect now.
