Aamir Khan and director Raju Hirani's created history of sorts with 3 Idiots, in 2009. Obviously then both would want to work with each other again.
Hirani has big plans to start a film with the meticulous actor this year end, but Aamir seems to be postponing all his projects. Almost every project of his is on the backburner. First, the Dhoom 3shoot was postponed, then his TV show Satyamev Jayatewas pushed ahead, then he decided to postpone his next release Talaashfrom June to November.
And now we hear that Aamir is focussed on his small screen debut. Shooting for the show has ended and now the actor is working on its marketing and promotions. Sources at the production house says that he has requested all the products he endorses not to buy any ad spots around his TV show. Since it is a serious, issue-based show, Aamir doesn't want to dilute the mood with advertisements featuring him as most of them are amusing.
Coming back to Hirani's next, the director had categorically told the actor that he is determined to get the cameras rolling this year end, and if Aamir is busy with other commitments, Hirani says, he may go ahead with another actor. Well, then it won't be just Aamir and Hirani's loss, the audience will also stand to lose out in the bargain as the cinema-lovers are certainly curious to see what they come up with next.
