Ra.One (Hindi) has grossed around 6 crore nett as per early estimates on Monday. The collections on Monday are pretty decent as when Sunday is lower than Saturday, a huge crash is expected but considering the 13.25 crore nett collections on Sunday, the 6 crore nett number is more than the film could have hoped for on Monday.
The film has now collected 87 crore nett in its first four days and should get to around 100 crore nett over its first week.
The Sunday figure suggested it could go into in its second weekend with very low collections and little hope of taking any advantage from the four day second weekend but now it may be able to have a decent collection from its extended second weekend.
The collections are being helped by holidays in Gujarat and the star power of Shahrukh Khan in circuits like West Bengal and Mysore. The regionals versions are down badly and are hardly collected on Monday.
