Ra.one is an upcoming Hindi sci-fi much awaited movie starring Shahrukh Khan, Arjun Rampal & Kareena Kapoor in the lead. Also starrs Rajnikanth, Sanjay Dutt & Priyanka Chopra in the cameo and Shahna Goswami, Dalip Tahil & Chinese Actor Tom Wu in the supporting roles.The movie is written and directed by Anubhav Sinha and is produced by Eros Entertainment & Shahrukh's own production company Red Chillies Entertainment. It is said to be the most expensive Hindi movie so far which has the total cost of 175+ crore spent on it. The movie is set to release this Diwali on 26th Oct.

Lets start with the prediction:

1. It is much awaited movie of the year & Shahrukh Khan is coming in a movie after almost two years so people will be excited to see him. Shahrukh has a huge fan following so audience will come in large amount.

2. The promos of the movie are not much exciting but the latest promo featuring Arjun Rampal(Ra.One) has been liked by the audience. The music album has some songs which are liked a lot like Chammak Challo, Criminal & Dildaara. Chammak Challo has even become a chartbuster.

3. The movie is releasing on very large scale actually it is releasing on the highest amount of screens (3500) including 3D prints.It is the most expensive sci-fi movie ever made in Bollywood having huge buzz and coming on Diwali occasion. So can prove to be the biggest treat for the audience & makers as well. But the first day will be afftected due to Diwali Pujan.

4. Also i have seen a huge amount of negativity around the movie. Audience is not getting that feel seeing the trailers normally seen in the superhero movies. I have done many surveys, all of them has shown negative result. Also people around me are not so much sure about it. But there has been a huge drought of movies, after the release of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan none of the movie has been liked by the audience and became a success. So people are awaiting a big movie with big star. Ra.one will surely get benefit from it.

On the whole Ra.One will have good opening but not as big as its release scale & expectations. Ra.One can disappoint on its first day but can surely pickup with good WOM due to star value & festive occassion. The first day would be in the 15-16 crore region.
