Ishaqzaade has done well on day one with collections looking to come around the 4.50 crore nett mark as per early estimates. The film has done good or decent business in all circuits. The early collections suggest the following circuit totals. (approx figures)
Delhi/UP - 90 lakhs
East Punjab - 35 lakhs
CI - 20 lakhs
CP Berar - 30 lakhs
Rajasthan - 30 lakhs
Mumbai circuit should easily cross the 1.50 crore nett mark and may even be around 1.75 crore nett.
The opening day is a lot better than Kahaani and Vicky Donor as performance is pretty good in both multiplexes and single screens whereas Kahaani and Vicky Donor only collected at multiplexes. Kahaani came on 1100 screens, Vicky Donor on 600 screens and Ishaqzaade is around 1200 screens.
