Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has taken a good opening multiplexes at most places around the country. The opening on average is around 70-75% at multiplexes. Some prime multiplexes are even 90% plus.
In a city like Chandigarh, the prime multiplexes like PVR and DT opened to 90% collections while Fun and Fame cinemas were around the 60-65% mark. The Delhi NCR area has also opened very well.
Overall its a good opening at multiplexes and it is ahead of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows Part 2 apart from the 3D versions of Harry Potter which has opened to bumper near 100% collections but 3D version is on just a few sites.
On the other hand in single screens Murder 2 still dominates ZNMD.Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara has not managed to get a good single screen chain as exhibitors prefer to give Murder 2 another week's run. The opening in most single screens is low, in Delhi city the single screens had a better response comparitively.
