Aarakshan did well on Independence Day as it collected around 6.50 crore nett as per early estimates which means a 25 crore nett total for four days. Independence day is one of the biggest holidays of the year and with it falling on Monday is a big boost for the film.
The film had its best day in East Punjab as all of the circuit was screening the film. In other circuits the drops ranged from 5-20% from its Sunday business.
The fate of the film will be decided over the next few days but with the Independence day collections, the 25 crore nett total in four day is decent collection.
The film has done good to decent business at multiplexes over the first four days while single screen business is low.
