Patiala House collected 4 crore nett(approx) on its first day which was very low & not expected from Akshay starrers. The collections were low due to the Genre. These type of movies don't take much opening due to lack of Mass appeal factor & generally rely on Word Of Mouth.
As the movie has got many positive reviews from critics & public has also liked the movie. A huge jump is expected on Saturady & Sunday. The movie will make high profits due to low investment of about 28 crore approx. But to have good theatrical collections the movie has to sustain for long.
