Aamir Khan Productions Delhi Belly is attracting South Indian directors who are now looking forward to buy the remake rights of the film. It is believed that few Tamil filmmakers have loved the film and think the remake will do well in Kollywood too. Though Aamir hasn't taken any decision on giving away the rights as yet, he is certainly open to the idea of a South remake. According to an industry source, few big Kollywood filmmakers have shown interest to remake the film in Tamil.
On the other hand, there's a strong buzz that Delhi Belly producers Aamir Khan and UTV have some different plans. Instead of selling the rights to Tamil producers, they are looking for a talented director and actors to remake the film themselves in Tamil.
Let's wait and watch for what Aamir and UTV opt for.
