Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan will battle it out at the box as their respective films - Housefull 2 and Ek Tha Tiger are releasing on 1st June. Just a day after Yash Raj Films announced the release date of EK THA TIGER, comes the news about HOUSEFULL 2 release.
As per box office reports, one of the biggest hits of the year 2010, Sajid Nadiadwala's HOUSEFULL that opened to packed houses is back and its bigger and better. Directed by Sajid Khan the film has an all new star cast -Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Ritesh Deshmukh, Shreyas Talpade, Asin, Zarine Khan,Jacqueline Fernendez, Shahazahn Padamsee, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor and Mithun Chakraborty and promises to have never-seen-before production values and rib-tickling moments that brings together 3 of the biggest veteran actors of Bollywood.
Keeping to the tradition the HOUSEFULL franchise has its sequel due to release on the first Friday post the IPL-2012.
Says producer Sajid Nadiadwala, "We are very happy to announce that HOUSEFULL 2 will release on the 1st June next year. NGE (Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment) has had a longstanding equation with cricket which has always proved lucky for us and we hope the next year is no exception."
