Aarakshan is an upcoming Hindi film starring Amitabh Bachchan,Saif Ali Khan,Manoj Bajpayee, Prateik Babbar & Deepika Padukone in the lead. The film is directed by Prakash Jha and is a socio political drama based on the controversial policies of caste based reservation in government jobs & educational institutions.Like the majority of Jha's films, it takes on issues about the society and political affairs of India. The film is set to release on 12th Aug 2011.
Lets start with the prediction:
1.The film is supported by huge star cast and is directed by Prakash Jha who is known for excellent film making.
2. The promos of the movie has been liked by the audience, the dialogues have become immensely popular. But the music has been the low key.
3. The controversies surrounding the film and the subject has increased the curoisity of the audience. But in some places it may find hard to release.
4. The film is coming after three weeks of the last big release, so it will help to find audience.
Overall the film has good chance to have a decent opening at the boxoffice if it get the full release in India. I expect an opening day of 6-7 crore.
