Delhi Belly is an upcoming Hindi Adult Comedy film directed by Abhinay Deo. It stars Imran Khan, Vir Das, Kunal Roy Kapoor, Shenaz Tresurywala & Poorna Jagannathan in the lead. The film is produced under the Aamir Khan Productions & UTV Motion Pictures and is set to release on 1st July 2011.
So lets start with the prediction.......
The film has many factors which can provide it a good opening. Let's have a look....
1. The film is made under the most trusted banner of the industry Aamir Khan Productions which has given a lot of successful films.
2. The promos & music of the movie has put such effect on the youth that they will come surely to watch the movie. Songs like Bhaag DK bose, Nakkadwale Disco, Ja Chudail & Switty Tera Pyar Chahida have became there favorite songs. Also the item song of Aamir Khan 'I hate u' is being popular among the audiences.
3. The theme of the movie has created a lot of excitement in the youth.
leaving these factors aside there are some factors that will prove a big stone in the opening of the movie...
1. It has lot of 'gaalis' and 'adult language' which will prevent families to come & watch the movie.
2. It is releasing with two more films 'Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap' & a hollywood film 'Transformers 3' which will divide the audience.
On the whole Delhi Belly will get a good audience in the form of youth and it will be highest opener 'A' certificate film. but it has nothing for families so we can't expect a huge opening. I predict 7-8 crore opening for the film.
