There is something unpredictable happening with FALTU at the boxoffice. After the drought in cinemas for one month one was expecting a great audience & business for the movie. But things are quite different. Of course, the film had a good start and weekend but was much affected by World cup final.
After the unsatisfying weekend hopes were that weekdays will be steady because the movie has got huge appreceation from audience as well as critics. But after a steady Monday the film seems dropping day by day.
Monday showed good collections due to holiday in Maharashtra & South but on Tuesday collections fell badly.
The film has collected around 16 crore nett in six days as collections have been dropping 20-25% daily from Tuesday. Faltu should manage to go over 17 crore nett for the week but its is not looking good for the second week as collections will fall heavily due to release of Thank You. Business in Mumbai circuit will be best.
The second week is likely to be in the 5-6 crore nett region meaning lifetime business in the 25 crore nett region. Faltu is looking to emerge an Average fare at best.
