Agneepath Movie Preview

In a small Indian village Mandwa, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (Hrithik Roshan) is taught by his principled father about the path of fire - AGNEEPATH. His life is completely shattered when the evil drug dealer Kancha (Sanjay Dutt) hangs his father to death. Vijay leaves for Bombay with his pregnant mother and has only one mission in life- to come back to Mandwa and bring back the glory of his father's name.

In Bombay, 12-yr-old Vijay is taken under the wings of the city gang lord Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor). From then on it is a journey of revenge where he makes and breaks many relationships only to get closer to his aim. Vijay finds support only in his best friend Kaali (Priyanka Chopra), who stands by him at every moment in his life. Fifteen years later his hatred for Kancha takes him back to Mandwa where life comes full circle.

Players two week, Don 2 four week total business

Players had a big drop as it grossed around 4.25 crore nett in week twoThe two week business of the film is around 25.75 crore nett. DISASTER

Don 2 added 1.50 crore nett in its fourth week taking its total 104.75 crore nett for its Hindi version in four weeks. HIT

Chaalis Chauraasi and Ghost had poor first weeks as the collected around the 2.50 crore nett mark. Sadda Adda and Tutiya Dil were very poor and only Sadda Adda has managed to go into its second week at a few theatres.

London Paris NewYork is an upcoming Hindi Movie starring Ali Zafar & Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead. Directed by Anu Menon the movie is set to release on 2nd March 2012.

The trailer of the movie released recently and is worth the applause. The chemistry of hero heroine works big time. Dialogues are very good & the Music seems promising. Trailer has very fresh feel, the thing which will attract a lot of youth in multiplexes.

A big positive for the trailer is that the first time a person sees it has a great impact on him. It promises a great feel good entertainer to the audience and will surely help the movie garner a good buzz & interest.

The Dirty Picture set to complete its 50 days run

The Dirty Picture will hit the 50 day mark of its run on Friday and will have an increase in theatres and shows at multiplexes. The film had a very steady run over the last four weeks and is being re-instated at many single screens and multiplexes are also giving it more screenings.

The releases of this year have performed very poorly be it Players, Ghost or Chaalis Chaarausi and even Don 2 has failed to to put up good occupancies after its first two weeks so exhibitors see The Dirty Picture as there best bet until the release of Agneepath.

There is no major Hindi release this week and the the major release is from Hollywood in the form of Underworld 4.
