What's common to Justin Timberlake, Will Smith, Jamie Foxx, Mark Wahlberg and likes? Well, besides the fact that they are singers par excellence, they have also graced the silver screen as actors. Following their footsteps are our very own Mika and Shaan, who will now be seen in the film Balwinder Singh... Famous Ho Gaya, that's being directed by Sunil Agnihotri.
Talking about the film, Agnihotri said that he was sure Mika and Shaan will surely succeed in creating space for themselves in the acting arena as well just like Justin Timberlake, Will Smith and others, who were primarily known for their singing. He also added that they not just fit the bill perfectly, but also when they heard the script, they found it to so hilarious that they instantly agreed to be a part of the film. Besides all this, they will be dancing to songs sung by themselves!
Talking about his 'role', Mika said that even though he has made appearances in films earlier, this will be his first venture where he will actually be acting and playing a proper role. He also added that besides an interesting script, Shaan (his co-star in the film) is like a brother to him and that it's great to do a film together. Meanwhile, Shaan, on his part said that he was looking for a right script and this was just the perfect one!
Balwinder Singh... Famous Ho Gaya, which is being produced by Sunil Agnihotri Productions in association with Vandana Motion Pictures Pvt Ltd, will hit the floors soon.
