Agent Vinod being an movie of thriller genre, one has very high expectations of some great earth shattering tracks which could make us tap the feet to the beats. Also the music director 'Pritam' has very good track record so one expects atleast a couple of chartbusters.
Music Analysis:
1. Album starts with the song I'll do the talking tonight which is a pretty good party song sung by Neeraj Shridhar & Aditi Singh Sharma who are accompanied by Shefali Alvaris and Barbie Amod. Neeraj desrves full credit for taking the song to some another level and makes it very enjoyable with his different way of singing. Beats & Music work by Pritam is very good. Lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya are good. Overall the song works and gives a good start to the album. 3/5
Remix version of the song is also good and definately more pacy which makes it even more enjoyable.
2. Next comes the song which was given the huge hype as a mujra song titled Dil Mera Muft Ka. The song starts with the feel as promised but soon changes its track to become a club song. The expirement done by Pritam really works with the voices of Muazzam, Rizwan, Shadab Faridi, Altamush Faridi, Shabab Sabri adding good feel to it. Lyrics are really good by Neelesh Mishra. Though some people will feel decieved by the song and won't like it much but overall its a good enjoyable track with nice lyrics. 3/5
Remix version is excellent and give proper desi feel with the voice of 'Malini Avasthi' & music arrangements adding proper spice to it. Far better than the original one.
3. To relieve and relax your mind after so much upbeat songs comes the most lovable song of the album Raabta which will surely make you make fall in love with it. The voice of 'Arijit Singh' suits the song which strikes & go through your heart. Lyrics by 'Amitabh Bhattacharya' are so beautiful that you will get addicted of it. 3.5/5
Pritam has mixed the song in four versions which are bonus for the listeners and increase the quality of album. All the four versions have written & composed so beautifully that you'll love it everytime you listen.
4. Then comes the most funny & entertaining song of the album Pungi which just increases the excitement of the listeners to the extreme level. This is easily the most funny song of 2012 so far. Mika is the singer & it seems he is made to sing this 'Pungi'. Lyrics by 'Amitabh Bhattacharya' has done the trick and the song is already much popular in audience. 4/5
In the remix version Nakash, Amitabh Bhattacharya & Pritam also comes to support Mika which makes it even more entertaining with additional voices & extra beat.
5. Album ends with Agent Vinod - Theme which gives a perfect & satisfying feel to the listeners and ends it to a healthy point. Normally theme songs dont have much duration but this one lasts for almost 5 mins and entertain you throughout. 3.5/5
Overall:
Agent Vinod is a very good album with every type of song in it which ensures good entertainment. The songs are not rememberable but Raabta & Pungi will surely go far.
