Akshay Kumar will be doing the Hindi remake of 'Ko', a Tamil blockbuster that garnered critical acclaim from all over the nation. It was earlier rumored that Akshay Kumar will be seen as the lead but nothing was announced officially.
It is now said that Prakash Jha will be remaking the film as 'Satyagraha' with Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor are the front runners for the female lead of the film!
The makers are also in talks with Nana Patekar to essay the role of a politician in the film. 'Satyagraha' is touted to be shot in New Delhi. However, we have to wait to see who will essay the role Ajmal did in the original, which is the surprise element and the second male lead in the film.
'Ko', a Tamil film by KV Anand with Jiiva, Ajmal, Karthika Nair and Piaa Bajpai in the lead is a political thriller with events that take place in the life of a feisty photojournalist.
'Satyagraha' will go on floors come March.
