Ready set for huge opening at boxoffice
Most in the trade seem to feel it will not have an opening weekend like Dabangg as the feeling is that promos are not as strong as Dabanng's. But Salman is there and two hit songs, the Friday could come up to match Dabangg. If the film has good content then the Dabangg weekend is definitely under threat.
The film will be the biggest release ever with a release of close to 1900 prints and around 1400-1500 of these being digital prints.Every exhibitor is wanting to cash onto the craze and films which are steady at the box office like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Stanley Ka Dabba and Haunted 3D are just left with a show here and there on the bigger multiplexes.
Hangover 2 and Kung Fu Panda (3D) have better luck but at prime multiplexes of Mumbai and South only. The multiplexes with 2/3 screens are giving all shows to Ready. The advance at multiplexes in full starts today and the signs from few multiplexes that opened early are good and 15-20% tickets for the weekend should be gone by the time the film releases on Friday morning.

Ready Movie Pre Release Prediction
Ready revolves around Prem (Salman Khan) and Sanjanna (Asin) who fall in love amidst a twisted plot of greedy uncles who want to gulp down Sanjanna's family inheritance and Prem's crazy family who always form a part of their only son's plans
Let's start with the prediction........ The film has a lot of positivity with it in the form of hype which can be considered from following points.
1. The promos of movie are well recieved by audience.
2. Songs like 'Character Dheela' & 'Dhinka Chika' are chartbusters which had already made the movie a hot property.
3. The biggest think which goes in the favour is the presence of Salmaan which has become the biggest star in bollywood after the super success of 'Dabangg'.
4. As it promises to be a family entertainment so it will be a biggest attraction for families.
5. Salmaan has a huge mass following so its also a advantage.
6.Last but not the least the movie is coming after IPL so people who were suffering from cricket fever will surely come in theatres for a change.
Considering all these facts i expect an opening of 11+ crore . The weekend and lifetime will be dependent on the word of mouth which is the biggest challenge for any movie.
Kucch Luv Jaisa Movie Review - Komal Nahata
Business rating: 0.5/5 star
Star cast: Rahul Bose, Shefali Shah, Sumeet Raghavan.
What’s Good: The performances.
What’s Bad: The screenplay; the inane conversations between Shefali and Rahul; the confused characterisation of Shefali.
Verdict: Kucch Luv Jaisaa doesn’t have much to love in it!
Loo break: A couple of places when the pace drops.
Watch or Not?: Watch it if you are fond of different cinema.
Sunshine Pictures Pvt. Ltd's Kucch Luv Jaisaa (UA) is the story of a bored housewife and a criminal on the run and how their worlds meet. Madhu Saxena (Shefali Shah) is a housewife whose life revolves around her husband, Shravan (Sumeet Raghavan), and two kids. Although she does everything humanly possible for her family, she doesn’t get her due as nobody has time for her. It’s her birthday and her family members don’t even remember to wish her. She decides to take a grip over her life. She chooses to head out of her home and enjoy her birthday. She meets Raghav (Rahul Bose), a criminal wanted by the police. He forges passports and helps criminals leave the country on fake names, but he now wants to settle down with his girlfriend, Riya (Neetu Chandra). However, the girlfriend has set a trap for him to be caught by the police.
Even as Raghav is on the run, a casual conversation leads Madhu to believe that Raghav is a private detective. And Raghav plays along… Does this day-long adventure change the lives of Raghav and Madhu?
Barnali Ray Shukla’s story idea is interesting but it is more of the kind which would’ve worked better on television. Her screenplay is so weak that at the end of it, the audience gets the feeling that a mountain has been made out of a molehill. For, most among the audience are likely to ask – so what if the husband forgot to wish the wife many happy returns of the day? Doesn’t it happen so very often? Does every wife decide to teach her husband a lesson for this lapse, by leaving home without informing him, buying herself a car, clothes and shoes and befriending a complete stranger, sharing a hotel room with him, and not taking her worried husband’s calls on her cell phone? Even if one were to accept that this is the story of one such wife, Madhu Saxena, the drama is so poor that nothing rings true in it and the comedy doesn’t even create laughter.
For one, Madhu Saxena is shown to be smart or dumb as per the convenience of the writer. She is smart enough to buy a car in a minute but dumb enough to agree to share a room in a hotel with someone she didn’t even know a few hours back. Madhu Saxena trying to act shy and coy – again, when and only when the writer feels like it – irritates the viewer.
Madhu’s husband doing nothing at all to trace his missing wife except trying to contact her or her parents on phone and looking exasperated also looks weird. The conversations between Madhu and Raghav are just not interesting enough to hold the bored audience’s attention. It is also not clear why Madhu assumes that Raghav is a private detective, why she accompanies him for the day and why he plays along. Wouldn’t he want to run away, especially since the police is hot on his trail? It is absolutely clear in no time that Raghav barely knows English (note, for instance, his question, ‘Ladies kahan hai?’ instead of ‘Lady kahan hai?’) but Madhu keeps speaking to him (often in English) as if he is a Harvard-returned scholar! Why? No reason!
Madhu loses her cool when she realises that Raghav is not a detective and mistakes him for a womaniser instead. Not only is the mistaken identity for the second time a very convenient and half-hearted twist in the tale but even the clarification of the misunderstanding (when the telephone both owner comes to return her the money) is equally childish. What’s more, Madhu lectures Raghav on life and it sounds so ridiculously fake if only because the lecture applies to her as much as it does to him. It indeed looks like a case of the pot calling the kettle black. Also, why would a housewife like Madhu, on learning that she was with a fraud or a womaniser, go to that person’s hotel room and ann- ounce that she was leaving? Would she not fear for her modesty and life and, therefore, run away from there instead?
Kucch Luv Jaisaa Review – Script Analysis
All in all, Barnali Ray Shukla’s screenplay is full of big, gaping holes and is just too philosophical. Even her dialogues are good only at places. The talk of Madhu’s school-going daughter indulging in sex with her boyfriend looks like an aberration because the rest of the film is not about this aspect at all. If the writer wanted to establish, through this sex talk between mother and her school-going daughter, that in spite of the daughter having no time for the mother, the loving mother understands and cares for her daughter always, well, the point is lost. And if the aim of the writer was to bring in the novel – and bold – element of teen sex, the impact is negative because it looks out of place in the film.
Kucch Luv Jaisaa Review – Performances & Direction
Rahul Bose is natural and does a fine job, underplaying to advantage. Shefali Shah is good but overacts at places, probably to camouflage the weaknesses in the script and her character. She is very good in the scenes which require her to change her mood instantly. Sumeet Raghavan does a fine job. Neetu Chandra is okay in a guest appearance. She hardly gets any scope. Amin Hajee is fair. Om Puri is wasted in a guest appearance. Manmeet Singh (as Shravan’s manager), Kunal Kumar (as Shravan’s co-worker), Manish Chaudhari (as a police officer) and Makrand Deshpande provide ordinary support.
Barnali Ray Shukla’s debut direction is alright but her script leaves so much to be desired that even her directorial qualities, evident in the film, will be clouded by it. Pritam’s music score is quite melodious. Naina and Thoda Sa pyar are quite tuneful. Irshad Kamil’s lyrics go with the film’s mood. Tapas Relia’s background score is ordinary. Camerawork (Bobby Singh) is fair. Hemanti Sarkar’s editing could have been better.
Kucch Luv Jaisaa Review – Komal Nahta’s Verdict
On the whole, Kucch Luv Jaisaa is a weak fare with bleak box-office prospects.
Bbuddah... introduces 'Acapella' in bollywood
The superstar creates a new record by singing the title track of his forthcoming film ‘Bbuddah-Hoga Terra Baap’ in ‘Acapella’ style – a first ever in India!
For those who are new to the concept, Acapella music is a solo or a group vocal or singing without any instrumental sound.
Interestingly, music directors Vishal-Shekhar had been planning to do something unique with Mr. Bachchan since quite sometime and they came up with the idea of using the Acapella style to create a memorable number for ‘Bbuddah’. When the duo approached Mr Bachchan with this suggestion, they were in for a pleasant surprise when the actor immediately agreed to do it!
Music director, Shekhar Ravjiani, elaborated, “We wanted to try something new with this song. We did the basic setup and then Mr. Bachchan replaced every track with his voice. Big B recreated the sounds of approximately 10 to 12 instruments, from drum to bass to the snare to the chorus. In a nut shell, he did everything required to make a song!”
A source from the film says, “Given Mr. Bachchan’s multi-talented persona, it is no surprise that he took this challenge up very sportingly and was very excited about doing something new. He gave his best and the result is for everyone to see. Every sound you hear in the title track is created by Mr. Bachchan himself! This is the first time that the ‘Acapella’ style of singing has been used in Indian cinema and we owe it to Mr. Bachchan for introducing us to something so unique!”
Well, the powerhouse that he is, Big B raises the bar higher every single time he tries his hand at absolutely anything!
Produced by Viacom18 & AB Corp, ‘Bbuddah-Hoga Terra Baap’ is written and directed by Puri Jagannadh and also stars Hema Malini, Raveena Tandon, Sonu Sood, Sonal Chauhan, Southern actress Charmi and South Indian baddie Prakash Raj.
‘Bbuddah’ releases on July 1st.

Bheja Fry 2 Music Review - Joginder Tuteja
EXPECTATIONS On it's release, Bheja Fry was primarily a song-less film. Of course with the stakes getting higher for the film's sequel, it was imperative that there is music added to the proceedings as well. Though there are apprehensions around how songs would really fit into Bheja Fry 2 which promises to be yet another laugh-a-minute affair with Vinay Pathak returning as the loveable comedian, one still plays on the album that has Ishq Bector leading from the front as a composer with Sneha Khanwalkar and Sagar Desai chipping in with a song apiece. Sonny Ravan, Shree D and Shakeel are the lyricists.
MUSIC There is a particular style of music which is expected from Ishq Bector and he delivers on the same lines as well with 'Ishq Da Keeda Mujhe Kaat Gaya', the opening track of the album. Designed to be an irritating number, courtesy the fact that it is picturised on Vinay Pathak, 'Ishq Da Keeda' is about him falling in love. Written by Sonny Ravan and Shree (who also comes behind the mike alongside Ishq Bector), it isn't the kind of song that you want to play on in isolation. However, one does expect a funky music video to be created around it which is promising enough to make it a funny watch. Ishq Bector, Sonny Ravan and Shree D come together again for 'We Go Crazy' (arriving in a 'remix version' as well) which is far peppier than 'Ishq Na Keeda' and has good ingredients in it that should make it a fun affair. Apeksha Dandekar dominates the middle portions of the song and genuinely seems to be enjoying her outing here. One waits to see if the makers have already created a music video around this. If not then they should do that pronto for sure! Sneha Khanwalkar, who is known for her peppy tracks with a rustic touch to them, is roped in a guest composer for Bheja Fry 2 and she goes on to create 'O Rahi' which is set in the 60s mode. Written by Shakeel who goes on to pen down some philosophy about life, it's highlight is Vinay Pathak who turns into a singer. Yes, he does fairly well in his new role but the song by itself doesn't carry much appeal for anyone except for those who still swear by music of the 60s. Rekha Rao sings 'Banjaare' which seems to have a (item) setting similar to that of 'Laila O Laila' (Chalo Dilli). However, it just doesn't make you revisit it despite its rhythmic setting. Written by Shakeel, it just doesn't seem to be going anywhere and doesn't turn out to be the kind of number that could elevate the prospects of an album. Last to arrive is 'Burra Na Maano Ji' which tries to continue from where composer Ishq Bector and lyricists Sonny Ravan and Shree D left with 'Ishq Da Keeda' and 'We Go Crazy'. Just about managing to pass muster, one wonders at this point whether all songs in the album would indeed make it to the final cut of the film. One expects that at best there may be a couple of music videos and maybe a song or two forming a part of the background score. Coming back to 'Burra Na Maano Ji', it has Dolly Peters pairing up with Shree D (who does a good job in sounding like Vinay Pathak) with the end result being just about ordinary.
OVERALL Except for 'We Go Crazy' and 'Ishq Da Keeda', there isn't much to look forward to in the music of Bheja Fry 2. Not that these two songs make for a great hear either but they have the kind of mood and rhythm that promise to fit in well with the setting of Bheja Fry 2. There is a potential to have reasonable sales for the album if the makers could get music videos created around these songs.
OUR PICK(S) We Go Crazy, Ishq Da Keeda
Rating 2 \ 5
Imraan's ghazal blast in Delhi Belly.
Last week, Kiran Rao shot a music video for Delhi belly in which Imran Khan in what ranks as a ferociously funny first for the actor, is dressed to the gills as a Ghazal singer, oiled hair, paan in the mouth and loads of gold rings in the finger.
The character is said to be modelled on Naseeruddin Shah's ghazal singer character in Sarfarosh and on, of all people, Pankaj Udhas.
According to the source , "The number that Kiran shot takes a potshot at the whole Ghazal culture. Imran was playing what looked like a mixture of Naseer's character in Sarfarosh and Pankaj Udhas. While we shot the number, everyone present was rolling with laughter. Imran himself would break into a giggle in the middle of an intricate alaap or murki. It was hilarious."
As for the lyrics by Akshat Sharma and Munna Dhiman, get a load of this:
Teri tirchi nazar ne Dil ko kar diya Pencher
Teri tirchi nazar ne Dil ko kar diya Pencher
Oye Pencher Pencher Pencher Pencher Pencher
Teri tirchi nazar ne Dil ko kar diya Pencher
Nakkadwaale DISCO, Udhaarwaale KHISKO
Nakkadwaale DISCO, Udhaarwaale KHISKO
(sa ni re re re re re re re re re re re re re re)
Nakkadwaale DISCO , Udhaarwaale KHISKO
Nakkadwaale DISCO , Udhaarwaale KHISKO
Tum ko dekha toh Kho gaya
Main Fell in Love sa Ho gaya
Socha tumne bhi Hint diya
Lekin Sandal ka Print diya
Dil Tukde Tukde ho gaya
Us din main Jaldi So gaya
Hoye maara tune Left Right and Center
Hoye Sandal Sandal Sandal Sandal Sandal
O Teri
Nakkaddwaale DISCO, Udhaarwaale KHISKO
Nakkaddwaale DISCO, Udhaarwaale KHISKO
Is Dil ki Nakkadi le lo na
Aur Pyaar Udhaara de do na
Meri Kismat mein hai Ched koi
Baby, Isko aur Kuredo naMere laakhon sapne tootein hain
Sab mauke haath se chootein hain
Hai Maar na Maar na Inkaaron ke Henter
Oye Pencher Pencher Pencher Pencher Pencher

Bbuddah... in profit before release
Looking at this the sattelite rights of movie are sold to a huge 13.50 crore before even the release of movie. The amount is huge because the film's production is of low 10.5 crore. So the film is already in profit zone.
The information was given by Amitabh Bachchan last night on twitter. He tweeted "T 383 -The sensible outlook in making of films today .. controlled budgets !! ..'Bbuddah -Hoga tera Baap' complete in 10.5 cr .." He furthur added " T 383 -BHTB film in profit before release due to cost control .. Satellite sold for 13.5 cr .. cost covered before release !! Well done Puri"
Seems the industry got the new success formula for movies. Small budget movies with good appeal are really profitable. What you say.......?????????
No Tax on Stanley Ka Dabba
Stanley Ka Dabba which went tax free in Delhi a few days back is also likely to get an entertainment tax exemption in Maharashtra. The film should benefit a little as 60% of its all India business is coming from Maharashtra and Delhi city.
A few years back Taare Zameen Par started going tax free in week two and it helped the film tremendously but the difference is that when Taare Zameen Par went tax free it was collecting well where it was running with good occupancies.
Here with Stanley Ka Dabba, the collections are on the lower side so it may not have a huge affect. The lifetime share of Stanley Ka Dabba was likely to be 2.50 if it did not get tax exemption, now it remains to be seen how much more it will do with the exemption.

Salmaan wants a 'Pativrata Naari' as his wife
Candid, unassuming and forthright, Salmaan Khan looks every bit the hunk, dressed in a green 'Being Human' T-shirt and denim jeans!
Whether it is his character in Maine Pyaar Kiya or Hum Aapke Hain Kaun the guy who loses the girl in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but still manages to win hearts, Salman admits he believes in family values.
"In today's times when family values have become trivial and human bonding is breaking down, everyone must remember that a man is a success only if he has good family values. I would rate family values as something more important than success. I will be a finished man tomorrow if I do not respect what my family wants. Family is the biggest support system you have." For someone whose family relocated from Indore with the actor's father Salim Khan having only 60 rupees in his pocket, Salman considers simple living to be something that he would never be afraid to go back to.
For someone who has often commented that if it were possible he would have gotten married at the age of 17, we ask him the obvious question of his dream woman and he says. "I want someone who is very efficient with good qualities of a homemaker."

Pyaar Ka Punchnama Review – Script Analysis
Pyaar Ka Punchnama Review – Komal Nahta’s Verdict
On the whole, Pyaar Ka Punchnama may be a moderate-budgeted film but its box-office prospects would be limited to a few cinemas in the cities because it is radically different from what the average cinegoer is used to watching. Flop.

Sajid Nadiadwala Housefull London's Bull Hotel for "Housefull 2" unit
Riteish Deshmukh, Rahul Khanna, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandes, Zarine Khan, Shahzaan Padamsee, Rishi and Randhir Kapoor, Boman Irani, Johnny Lever and Chunky Pandey.
Most of the unit is travelling with their families and everyone has been put up at the 118-room Bull Hotel in Peterborough, London.
Needless to say, the place is 'houseful'! Summer is the peak season for tourists and so to avoid inconvenience, Sajid booked the entire hotel for the duration of their stay there."
The action director and his team will fly down from Los Angeles. Farah Khan will fly down for the choreography.
After London, the unit will shift to Greece. It's a very expensive outdoor costing almost R 20 crore. An entire aircraft has been booked to fly down most of the stars and unit on the same day."
Sajid says, "All my actors are working hectic schedules and Housefull 2 has a lot of action, which is taxing. I feel it's important to keep actors at ease while shooting such tough schedules.
We have even put up a football unit on the set and a small cricket ground for the actors so they don't get bored."
After Housefull 2, Sajid begins work on Kick with Salman Khan in December in Korea.

Pyar Ka Punchnama Movie Review - Taran Adarsh
Deemed as the most dependable genre [youth-centric rom-com], PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA is amusing, witty, sharp and contemporary, but it does some serious talking as well. Oh yes, it arrives with zilch expectations [bunch of new actors, new director, team of new composers are responsible for this entertainer], but the efforts are worth it and the time, well spent. First-time writer-director Luv Ranjan ensures that there are wild-whacky moments aplenty, but he also smartly integrates heavy-duty drama towards the concluding moments that camouflage the rough ends in the narrative.
PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA isn't ground-breaking or pioneering cinema, but I have to state, it puts the fun quotient back into the movies due to its unsullied take on relationships, which snowballs into heavy-duty drama as it reaches the finale. Let this not mislead you that it's a sex-comedy with lewd jokes, sensual scenes and colorful lingo. It's not. As a matter of fact, the lingo is straight out of life, laced with some crackling and witty one-liners. Exactly the way the metropolitan youth communicate in their everyday tête-à-tête.
Luv Ranjan knows the grammar of film-making right. Everything that you see seems straight out of life. He strikes the right balance between fun-n-frolic and somber-n-serious moments. Particularly noteworthy are the sequences in the finale, when the three boys have terrible heartaches and break down inconsolably. Prior to that the sequences that lead to the drift are well penned and dexterously executed. The film has an energetic musical score, complimenting the genre of the film. 'Ishq Na Kariyo Kaake' [composer: Clinton Cerejo] and 'Kutta' [composer: Luv Ranjan] are youth-friendly tracks and both have been lapped up by viewers. Sudhir K. Chaudhary's cinematography is first-rate.
On the whole, PYAAR KA PUNCHNAMA has a single-point plan of engaging and amusing the spectators by telling a story which is unusual, yet relevant. It's radiantly good cinema that needs to be lauded and encouraged. Strongly recommended, go for it!
Aamir had desire to play fat guy in Delhi Belly
Aamir Khan's new productional venture Delhi Belly has recently caught the eyes of youngsters with its song "Bhaag DK Bose". But Aamir wants to tell the people that the film is also very interesting.
Talking at a recent event, Aamir said, "I loved the script and especially the character played by Kunal (the fat guy Nitin in the film). It's a total fun character and I thought it would be a great experience playing such a role. But then I decided against it."
Further explaining his reason for not doing the role in Delly Belly, Aamir said, "The character in the film had to be fat and sloppy. It meant that if I want to play Nitin, I would have to gain a lot of weight. I didn't want to gain weight and let go of a body I have worked hard to achieve." Well... the reason doesn't seems believable. May be its a way to promote the film.
